Where is my information stored?
PupNote stores your dog profile and records locally on your iPhone. The app does not require an account and does not upload your dog-health records to the developer. If iPhone Backup or a computer backup is enabled, iOS may include PupNote's local app data in that device backup.
Does PupNote use analytics?
No. This release contains no analytics SDK, advertising, or cross-app tracking. Dog-health records and basic app milestones remain on your device. Read the privacy policy for details.
Is my data backed up?
PupNote does not operate its own backup or cloud-sync service in this release. Deleting the app may delete its records. Keep iPhone Backup enabled if you want iOS to include eligible app data in device backups.
Can I export my information?
Open Profile → Settings → Export All Data to create a readable copy containing your profile and records. The export is not a restorable PupNote backup. You control where the exported file goes.
How do I delete everything?
Open Profile → Settings → Erase All Data and confirm. This removes PupNote's profile, logs, records, local preferences and pending medication reminders from the device.
How do I share a veterinary report?
Open Vet → Summary → Share with Vet, generate the PDF, and then choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. Review the report before sharing it.
Why did I not receive a medication reminder?
Confirm notifications are allowed for PupNote in iOS Settings, reminders are enabled in PupNote, and the medication has an explicit dose time. PupNote does not infer reminder times from free-text notes.
Is PupNote veterinary advice?
No. PupNote organizes information you enter. It does not diagnose, assess emergencies, recommend treatment or replace professional veterinary advice. Contact a veterinarian whenever you are concerned about your dog's health.
