PupNote requires no account. Your dog profile, health records, routines, observations, medication information, weight entries, notes and photos are stored locally on your device. PupNote contains no advertising, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking.
Information you enter
PupNote lets you enter a dog profile, routines, observations, medication and vaccination information, health history, weight, notes and related records. This information is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. The developer cannot access it remotely and does not sell, rent or use it for advertising or tracking.
Photos, reports, exports and notifications
If you choose a profile photo, PupNote stores the selected image with the app’s local data. PDF reports and readable data exports are created on your device and leave the app only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. An exported file is a readable copy and is not a restorable PupNote backup.
Medication reminders are scheduled locally through Apple’s notification system using times you enter. PupNote does not send medication names, instructions or reminder content to the developer.
Local storage and device backups
PupNote does not operate a separate cloud-sync or backup service in this release. If iPhone Backup or a computer backup is enabled, iOS may include PupNote’s local app data in that device backup according to Apple’s settings and policies. Deleting the app may delete its locally stored records.
Data collection and tracking
PupNote does not transmit analytics, use an analytics or advertising SDK, access the advertising identifier, or track you across apps or websites. Basic app milestones used to support the first-run experience remain only on your device.
Data retention and deletion
Your PupNote records remain on your device until you remove them. Use Profile → Settings → Erase All Data to delete the dog profile, logs, records, local preferences and pending medication reminders. Deleting the app also removes local app data according to iOS behavior.
Because the developer does not receive your locally stored dog-health information, the developer cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
When you contact support
You decide what information to include when contacting support. Support emails are used only to respond to your request and are deleted from the developer’s mailbox when no longer reasonably needed. Do not send dog-health records, private notes, photos, PDF reports or exported PupNote files.

Children
PupNote is a general dog-care record tool. It is not directed to children and is not intended for the App Store Kids Category. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Veterinary notice
PupNote organizes information you choose to enter. It does not diagnose, assess emergencies, recommend treatment or replace professional veterinary advice. Contact a veterinarian whenever you are concerned about your dog’s health. For an urgent or potentially life-threatening situation, contact an emergency veterinarian immediately.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app, website or data practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the app, this website or the App Store listing before they take effect where reasonably possible. The effective date above identifies the current version.
