How do I get started?
Open Today and choose Energy & plan my day or Monitor. You can use either, or both. There is no need to complete both.
The four tabs are Today, Activities, History and Settings.
How do I create a gentle plan?
Choose Energy & plan my day to check in with your current energy. You can also record sleep, mental clarity and what you are dealing with today. Complete the check-in to create your plan; symptom questions are optional.
Your gentle plan offers manageable activities with their existing icons and details. You can open an activity, use its timer, record how it went, or request new suggestions. Rest is also a valid choice.
What does Treatment Monitor do?
Choose Monitor from Today. If you have not created a baseline, start with your personal baseline. You can then record daily observations, symptoms, functional impact and an optional note.
Treatment Monitor shows factual comparisons with your saved baseline and records, and helps prepare an appointment summary. Missing days mean no entry was recorded; they do not mean there were no symptoms.
Monitor is separate from your daily energy check-in. You do not need to complete it to create a gentle plan, and its records are not used to generate that plan. It does not interpret your records or assess whether treatment is working.
Where can I find earlier records?
Open History to review saved wellbeing and Treatment Monitor records. Use the available period and record-type filters, or Find date to look for a particular day. If nothing appears, check the selected filters or clear them.
Are my plan reflections sent as feedback?
No. Reflections you save about your plan stay in the app’s local storage. They are not sent to the developer as feedback. To share a suggestion or report a problem, use the support email below.
Where is my information stored?
Soft Pace stores your wellbeing information locally on your iPhone. It does not require an account and does not upload your check-ins, plans, reflections or Treatment Monitor records to the developer.
If iCloud Backup or a computer backup is switched on, iOS may include Soft Pace data in that device backup.
Can I use Soft Pace offline?
Yes. Check-ins, gentle plans, activities, timers, Treatment Monitor and History work without an internet connection. Opening website links or sending support email requires a connection.
Does Soft Pace use analytics?
Soft Pace uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-preserving app-use analytics. This helps the developer understand feature usage, plan creation and use, and whether people return to the app.
Analytics is enabled by default. You can turn it off in Settings → Share anonymous app use and continue using the app.
Signals do not include your health answers, Treatment Monitor records, activity names, reflections, notes or backup contents. They include app actions, broad usage categories and technical information such as app and iOS versions. Read the privacy policy for details.
How do I make a backup?
Open Settings, select Export backup (JSON), and choose where to save the file. Backup V2 includes Treatment Monitor records. To import a saved backup, select Import backup and choose a Soft Pace backup file.
Backup files can contain sensitive information. Store them somewhere you trust, and do not send them to support. Consider exporting a current backup before importing another file or deleting app data.
How do I delete my information?
Open Settings, select Delete all data, and confirm. This removes locally stored preferences, custom activities, check-ins, plans, activity progress, reflections, Treatment baselines and daily Treatment records. It also resets the analytics identifier.
This reset restores analytics to its default enabled setting. If you prefer it off, turn off Settings → Share anonymous app use again.
Deletion does not remove exported backup files, copies in iCloud or computer backups, or analytics already transmitted to TelemetryDeck. You manage backup copies separately through their storage destination.
The developer cannot recover your local records remotely. Make a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
Is Soft Pace medical advice?
Soft Pace is a general wellbeing tool. It does not diagnose conditions, assess treatment effectiveness or provide medical guidance. Use your usual healthcare and emergency contacts for health concerns. Stop an activity if it causes pain or makes you feel unwell.
Contact support or share feedback
Email appsbyjing@gmail.com for help, to report a problem, or to suggest an improvement. You can use any email app or webmail service.
For a technical problem, include your iPhone model, iOS version, Soft Pace version, and a short description of what you expected and what happened. If possible, describe the steps that led to the problem without including private information.
Do not email health information, private reflections or an exported Soft Pace backup. If you include a screenshot, remove or cover any personal or health information first.
You choose what to send. Soft Pace does not automatically attach your records or backups. Your email address, message and the technical details you provide are used to respond to your request. Contacting support does not enrol you in research.
Support email is for help with the app, not medical advice or emergency assistance. Read the privacy policy for information about support correspondence.
